In 1985, the year I was born, Japan was the world's second-largest economy in terms of GDP per capita. However, in recent years, its ranking has fallen below 20th place.

While working as a consultant addressing management challenges for numerous companies, I came to strongly feel that Japan's greatest challenge, including my own, lies in “productivity.” I believe this is a common challenge for all companies, regardless of size or location. Specifically, the issues are as follows:

① Products failing to capture demand in global markets

② Underutilized talent

I felt the urgency of issue ① particularly strongly during my travels to 17 countries after bankruptcy. Among these, I became convinced that the “food” sector holds significant potential. Overseas consumers valued “food” more than automobiles or home appliances.

Okinawa is geographically close to overseas markets and has historically served as a vital hub for trade. Here, we resolved to confront Japan's food manufacturing industry head-on and take on this challenge with determination, guided by the vision: “From Japan, via Okinawa, to Asia.”

Our mission is to spread Japan's outstanding food products from Okinawa to Asia and beyond, to the world. We will pursue this endeavor wholeheartedly, carrying Japan's pride in our hearts. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.
